Hail to the Broncos!
The absurdity of the Bowl Championship Series was exposed once again tonight, with Boise State’s stunning overtime victory over Oklahoma. This was a victory for the Western Athletic Conference, the state of Idaho, the Mountain West, all the small schools snubbed by an archaic and corrupted system that rewards the fat-cat commissioners and their corporate backers (now likely choking on their Tostitos).
Anyone lucky to have stayed up this late, after the rigors of a long holiday weekend, just witnessed undoubtedly one of the most exciting finishes in college football history.
