It’s dumping out again, which means skiers and snowboarders have to eat well after a day of hard charging in the hills.
For the skids, there’s no better bargain right now than the ski bum special at the Million Dollar Cowboy Steakhouse, beneath the Cowboy Bar on the Square. $5 gets you a burger and PBR.
And this is no ordinary burger.
It’s beef ground from all the trimmings of the steaks served in the restaurant. Those are mighty fine cuts of beef.
Everything extra for your burger costs $1. Grilled onions, $1. Fries, $1. Cheese, $1.
To get the deal, you must be seated at the bar between 5:30 and 7 p.m.
Those who’d rather go big can order the Oysters Rockefeller broiled with Pernod, spinach, apple wood-smoked bacon and parmesan ($13), or the 20-ounce T-bone ($45).
On a really good night, you can sate your appetite and then go upstairs and polish your dance moves in the Cowboy Bar. For the rhythmically challenged, Dancers’ Workshop offers free two-step lessons at 7:30 p.m. every Thursday. The bar hosts live music six nights a week.
Call the steakhouse at 733-4790 with questions about the special.
