Riding momentum from the last two elections, Teton County Democrats will meet Saturday to elect officers, discuss goals and perhaps figure out a way to finally unseat Barbara Cubin.
The meeting is open to all citizens, but only members of the party’s central committee will vote on officers. Any registered Democrat may seek a leadership post.
Chairman Chuck Herz says the party is “continuing to help move public policy in wiser directions and to put persons of integrity, competence and wisdom in public office — in Teton County, in Wyoming, and in the United States.”
Herz adds, “That only happens when ordinary citizens put time, effort, and thought into making it happen, into making democracy work.”
The meeting starts at 3 p.m. in the commission chambers of the Teton County administration building, 200 S. Willow St.
