Just another evening in the Tetons.
This is the view from the base of Shadow Mountain last night. Shortly after the photo was taken, the full moon rose in the opposite direction. Choose your splendor.
Riding Shadow is one of my favorite fall rituals: watching the golden aspen leaves flutter, sharing the trail only with occasional deer hunters.
It seemed there was a photograph around each bend. I had to hustle to make it out before dark!
