That’s Bernie Madoff, the indicted Wall Street rip-off artist, out for an evening stroll in Manhattan yesterday sporting his Jackson Hole Mountain Resort hat.
Madoff, accused of bamboozling investors out of the small sum of $50 billion, was released on bail and appeared before a mob of cameras. The image of the fraudulent financier in his Jackson Hole cap is plastered all over every media outlet in the country.
A commenter on the Wall Street e-tabloid Dealbreaker noticed the hat and wrote: “WTF? He is wearing a Jackson Hole hat? That ancient old fuck couldn’t ski anything out there – not even Apres Vous. Another wanna be wasp like Guttfreund.”
Resort spokeswoman Anna Olson said there’s “no known relationship” between Madoff and Jackson Hole.
Thanks to JL for the spot.
