Updated 4/12 — the Sibleys win!
(Click here to listen to a recording of the show.)
The ever-harmonious Anne and Pete Sibley will perform on A Prairie Home Companion on Saturday.
For the Sibleys, self-professed public radio junkies, this gig is bigger than American Idol.
And you can help them win the Great American Duet Sing-Off.
The program will be Web cast live starting at 4 p.m. Listeners may cast a vote between 4 and 5 p.m. A taped segment will air on Wyoming Public Radio at 6.
Jackson’s champions of romance, folk music and sustainability are among six finalists chosen to play for Garrison Keillor, who will be softly orating this week from the prairie of New York City.
The couple has a new CD, Coming Home, and is preparing to hit the festival circuit, with gigs at North Carolina’s MerleFest and RockyGrass in Lyons, Colo.
Here’s Keillor interviewing them before the show:

The Sibleys crushed it tonight and took first place. They won $2,000, I believe, and an exquisite trophy. Not to mention the admiration of an audience of millions.
Congrats Pete and Anne!
Wooo Hoooo! Congratulations to the deserving winners! (I knew they’d win…somehow I just knew it!!) Sooz
