Thanks for bearing with us these last three weeks, as I’ve been out of town, for work and pleasure, more than I’ve been home.
Most recently JH Underground joined the hordes of Jacksonites on spring pilgrimage to the desert for a few days of camping and mountain biking. I’ll have a report on these and other adventures shortly.
Time to clean the slate as we gear up for summer.

lurve the picture.
“…for a few days of camping and mountain biking.” what, the boat’s there just for decoration?
Did you run desolation or the Green? Or neither. And how was the flow.
That is a very cool picture Jim. Wish I was a part of the pilgrimage!
we ran the Green below Lodore, a day stretch called Split Mountain Gorge and rated I-III.
water was high and pushy, about 13,000 cfs. lively!
Ya that’s a good one. We ran cataract last year at the first of June it was raging. Don’t know if you have been in there but its one of the best river trips in the states in my opinion, weather starting down the Green or Colorado. Definitely get a J rig to haul you out of Powel. And goes with someone with local knowledge there are tons of fun pristine hikes and the water is beyond huge.
