An autumn road trip to the desert helps put winter on ice — unless, like last week, you get blasted by a storm and have to huddle around a bonfire to keep warm. You can always keep heading south.
This trip is drawing to a close, having yielded tales of mesa-top mountain bike rides, soaring jams and drug-addled wookies. I’ll have plenty to share when I get home. For now, it’s back to the road.
Set me alight, and punch a hole right through the night …
