Construction has begun on a Habitat for Humanity home in Chattanooga, Tenn., honoring Chris Horne.
Horne is the former Jackson resident and Journeys School teacher killed in a car accident over Thanksgiving weekend 2007.
Construction of the three-bedroom, 1,040-square-foot home has been spearheaded by the Hullander family of Chattanooga, whose daughter Mandy is Chris’ widow. A single mother of two has been chosen to take ownership of the home and is working on the project.
Much work remains to be done. Click here to donate.
