pretty peaks, wrong state

Unless Jenny Lake has been annexed into Idaho, Rex has his geography confused.

Idaho gubernatorial candidate Rex Rammell can’t do much right these days.

The fringe Republican from Tetonia is drawing ridicule after essentially calling for a Mormon jihad, saying “God’s help” is needed to save the U.S. Constitution.

And his campaign backdrop is actually in Wyoming, not Idaho.

This is the same Rex Rammell who joked last summer about hunting President Obama. And who recently had property in Teton County foreclosed on, the News&Guide reported. And who owned an elk “ranch” where more than 100 animals escaped in 2006, triggering a hunt to protect wild herds.

Fortunately, he stands zero chance of getting elected, having won only 5.4 percent of the vote in the 2008 U.S. Senate election.

The Tetons are the Tetons, but the rest is a little weird. Some Mormons I have been in close contact with are just as crazy just not as violent; actually they can be very nice. Kind of like ummmmm… a cult I guess you could say, but I guess that goes for a lot of religions, or all for that matter but hey that’s just my opinion which is based on experience and no facts. This guy seems like a bad apple though.

Has anyone read about the Mountain Man Massacre, or blood atonement? Yikes! This guy creeps me out!

Sorry for the double post. I meant Mountain Meadow Massacre in Utah. I thought this guy was an idiot when his elk escaped, but now I see how really wacky this guy is. Waaaaay out there!
