Really?
This car was parked on top of Teton Pass yesterday, amidst the legions of powder hounds. The owner either a) has a good sense of humor; or b) is smuggling drugs across state lines.
Or perhaps not all backcountry skiers who drive Subarus are tree-hugging, dirt-worshipping, granola-eating Bolsheviks.
The car was parked right next to a Honda with an “Impeach Cheney First” sticker. The owners of both likely reaped many face shots. Powder to the peaceful!

Def. drugs across stateliness the NRA sticker solidifies that. Was there a badge on the other side saying I support Teton county sheriffs 2000-2010 ? None the less that sticker will give me nightmares.
Question: As much as I hate the sticker why dont you black out the plates? Just wondering?
I cut out several of the numbers.
thought about distorting the rest, but really, this is just a joke.
Would this justify a turtle-ing?
Cool just wondering? And yes I believe it would justify a turtle-ing.
i totally parked next to that car at the library the other day… and i thought to myself, “wow… really? but i guess this is probably the only one here in jackson… if i were still in texas, these’d be a dime a dozen.”
then i saw ANOTHER one this morning! crazy. now i’m not saying i don’t like these people… all’s i’m sayin’ is that i shiver at the thought of Sarah Palin ‘12.
yes the libs worst nightmare, with a distinct possibility of becoming reality. Not necessarily likely, but certainly within the realm of the possible.
not only a libs worst nightmare, it should be your worst nightmare as a human being.
danno: I am full on Republican and I don’t see how you can begin to think its possible. They will tear her to shreds, she quit her last position, has lied / was factually incorrect on multiple issues and in the end is not a smart person. She is her own worst nightmare. If she is the best person the Right can produce I will officially become a independent. The Republican party is not what it used to be, I hope we get back to what is important which is the greater good of all Americans.
Personally…I’m not a subaru owning, tree-hugging and dirt worshiping Liberal. However….I’am an Audi driving, granola eating, powder worshiping, rock-climbing, mtn biking slightly conservative Independent. And here is something I don’t get. Jackson Hole is supposed to be an almost magical place where people love each other and accept individuals for who they are. I’ve been to JH several times and I know it’s a more liberal place than say…..Kentucky. Don’t liberals claim to be open minded? So what’s open minded about making fun of someone that has a Palin sticker? Can’t Dems and Reps come to the Mountains without being made fun of for what they believe? Even if it is Palin? I don’t really see the humor in this at all.
really? cuz i think there’s a difference between stating what you believe [or don't believe] in a conversational manner and straight-up shunning, telling people with different beliefs to get lost… being assholes about it.
are we assholes?
[honest question.]
If I showed up at a hoedown of Kentucky hillbillies, wearing a Barack Obama T-shirt, that would be pretty funny, too.
Folks, civility is the name of the game.
I’m writing this from Kentucky and I take great pride that although Obama lost decisively in 2008, Kentucky gave him a higher percent of its votes than it gave its native son, Abe Lincoln (only 7%).
Well, I gotta get back to scraping off our local mountain tops, filling in the fragile stream beds, and then burning all that black coal.
Give a friendly wave to that red Forester next time you see it on the Pass.
caught wind of this this morning. I had to look. I own this car. Those are my bumper stickers. I am a HUGE Sarah Palin fan. I would vote for her next election. It saddens me that they may never become a reality as my GOP doesn’t support her like I do. However, John McCain should have become president of the United States last year. Obamama and his group are practicing politics as usual and splitting apart our Country as well as breaking promises. This sticker now represents what the “anybody but Bush” sticker relayed a few years ago. God bless America. Kevin Walz
I also sport a Palin bumper sticker on my vehicle, and strangely enough, I pick up skiers almost every day and drive them up the pass, yet not once has any of them ever refused a ride because of it.
